A summery single

‘Contrails’ is taken from The Hush Now’s debut album, it’s a pleasant, bouncy, poppy, indie track, summery and with a catchy tune, which is simple and simply played; drums, synth, guitar and vocals all straightforward and light in tone(however, the vocals are quite nasal so perhaps not to everyone’s taste). The track is not fluff as such but there’s not a great deal here to talk about; it’s bright and breezy of course, the melody is solid and quite hummable after a few listens, it has a danceable edge that will definitely be indie-disco fodder and there is a classic indie feel, but it’s not hugely exciting or inventive and doesn’t stick in your head for very long after you’ve heard it.
