Cars on Fire

When Cars On Fire supported Fightstar at Heaven back at the start of the year, something special was projected from the stage; something this song touches upon but doesn’t fully explore.

With their recent release ‘Sharks,’ the Bristol quartet switch between anger and anguish then subtlety and sentiment. The song was written when lead singer Ali Ross was in a bad part of his life. When he was ready to give it all in, a tiny glimpse of something brighter broke through and thus became the inspiration behind ‘Sharks’. Building on fury the songs settles around the yelling of vocals, shouting of lyrics, while also switching to something a little less irate, calmer and more sublime.

‘Sharks’ was one of many songs Cars on Fire performed when on stage supporting Fightstar and it looks to be just the beginning of a magnificent 2010 for the boys.
