Esteban - She Goes Out
Last year saw Esteban heading out to various Festivals, playing numerous gigs and clubs along the way. 2010 looks set to be even bigger for this Derbyshire based quartet.
The new single ‘She Goes Out’ is first of three to be released in the run up to the bands debut album in the autumn. Having been classed as self-styled desert funk, this song also mixes some indie rock and Latin and African beats. Imagine that all combined with three part vocals, rock guitars and an uplifting party atmosphere and you get something occasionally mysterious, quite restrained yet intriguing to listen to. Having met through terrifying circumstances, the quartet adds some realistic problems into the lyrics of their music. ‘She Goes Out’ is in reference to the people that disappear in South America, who can be thrown in prison at the blink of an eye for their political beliefs.
If this one doesn’t tickle you in all the right places, there are three other tunes on the CD to get you in just the right state of mind for the upcoming album.
