The masters of fusing melodies are back with a new single called ‘Riot Act’.

We first got a taste of Overreact over a year ago when they released their debut single ‘Violent Eyes’; well, the masters of fusing melodies are back with a new single called ‘Riot Act’.

What these guys are able to accomplish with this forthcoming single is a song that takes inspiration from the bands favourites. From Tokyo Police Club to The Psychedelic Furs, the individual styles are twisted into their own to make something contemporary whilst also extraordinary, creating their own raw indie/dance sounds.

‘Riot Act’ has one simple and continuous riff with various other musical sounds layered, particularly on the chorus. Vocally the song is projected with a rugged nature, which on the chorus again gains momentum due to this more intensified sound.

This is a song by a young indie punk group and with the help of producer Will Jackson, known for his work with Kaiser Chiefs and Pigeon Detectives to name a few, they have made quite a funky number.
