Not a Hater
Manchester electro three piece, Run Toto Run, have been busy of late putting out some pretty interesting re-works of tracks by bands like Passion Pit and Bombay Bicycle Club but with ‘Hater’ it is all their own work from start to finish.
As you expect with a song title like ‘Hater’ this is not going to be a nice soft romantic type of song, oh no, after a few seconds of a dreamy vocal intro it kicks off with real aggressive feeling electronic music. To be honest, this style of music was never really one of my favourites but since hearing ‘Hater’ for the first time it has been constantly played and have not tired of listening to it or any of the many different mixes that come with the single.
Run Toto Run will be working hard over the summer with gigs all over the country as well as an appearance at The Secret Garden Party in Cambridge.
