An EP of two halves.
"The End/Fukd" is an EP from light rock band The Ram Raid.
An EP of two halves, 'The End' has similarities with the music produced by bands such as Panic! At the Disco, absolutely requiring the listener to tap their feet whilst listening to it. 'Fukd' on the other hand has a much more laid-back, indie vibe. Such is the difference between the two tracks, it could easily be mistaken as the music of two separate acts!
The Ram Raid is one of those bands that will appeal to music fans of all ages and backgrounds; as surprising as that may sound given my prior comparison to teeny bopper favourites Panic!, I first came across the guys at the biker festival Bulldog Bash! Inoffensive, entertaining music is all too rare these days and The Ram Raid have exploited this niche wonderfully; I really hope we hear more from them soon.
"The End/Fukd" is an enjoyable EP that proves that nice guys don't always come last. I predict that there could be good things to come from the trio in the future.
