Eclectic indie

Rob Jones returns with a very eclectic EP, it's always been quite hard to pin him down but the tracks here are extremely diverse and some are quite experimental (the moody, electro atmospherics of D.O.P.L. being one such track). 'Do The Hand Jive' is manically poppy with a charming and very summery indie vibe and lends itself very well to the Go! Team remix which follows. 'To The Height Of A Frisbee' is laid back, dreamy and light with upbeat lyrics and 'Satisfactory Substitute' comes out of left field with a Hip Hop beat, again though, it's very laid back. The easy unhurried feel of the record is what pulls it all together; sure an eclectic mix but not confusingly so. The uncluttered arrangements and simple melodies make it all work.
