Catchy folksy punk
A dose of Punky, folksy, poppy rock n roll (yes, they are hard to categorise) from the Devon mob on this catchy and anthemic single. 'Tribes', the lead track, is pretty Springsteen-esque, yes, we know, another one of those, but don't start groaning just yet, as this lot manage to get away with it because they mix in plenty more influences than just those that Springsteen brings to the table giving them a distinctive sound all their own and to top it all off, the super catchy sing along chorus really lifts off and has you dancing along.
'Help For Heroines', the B side, is a more subdued number, but no less rockin'; the main riff running throughout is memorable and when the pace picks up it's another corker, with one of those catchy choruses they do so well that sticks with you long afterwards.
