Anthemic rock

Just when you're starting to become jaded with the never ending stream of sound alike anthemic-rock around, along comes Brit four piece Verses to reinvigorate it all; they create a rich sound with huge sing along choruses and their new four track EP is so emotionally uplifting you find yourself lost in movement right from the start.

EP opener 'Push Back The Line' is punchy and danceable with nice chunky bass, excellent, playful dual guitars and catchy vocal lines; this is the tone for the whole record, there's enough variety to keep you interested in each track but it's also slick and cohesive with no awkwardness to take you out of the moment. Tunes like 'Stand and Stare' are absurdly addictive, making for a record that's difficult to put down and when you're craving a slice of emotional, anthemic rock there is simply nothing better to put on repeat and bounce around to.
