Kill-joy
The appeal of The Killers is one of life's great mysteries, on par with why you would want to put certain odorous cheeses' in your mouth and Marathon running. This is another single from their now probably billion selling LP and it's a musically unadventurous wooden slog with a fist clenching chorus that positively reeks of stadium rock. Lyrically its sub Morrissey : "boy one day you'll be a man, girl he'll make you understand" and sung with about as much passion for life as a man pressing a gun up against his nostril on the point of redecorating one of his walls. And what does this mean : "save some face, you know you've only one", maybe the singer should be writing Government warnings for tanning beds. No doubt it'll go top ten and further prove that Indie kids' preferred dish these days is a nice plate of spuds and boiled meat, umm tasty.
