Climing Higher And Higher

Straddling the gap between melodic indie and a darker, more angst fuelled blend of rock, London's Showbizheroes are a band that manages to offer glimpses of something vibrantly new combined with a tried and trusted back bone that instantly engages all. With their debut single, Sinner released last year, the band are back to show us a little bit more with Climb At A Fall a track that more or less does what its names suggests, climbs but luckily for Showbizheroes, manages to sidestep the fall with ease.

Slow and steady to start Climb To A Fall teases with simple guitar riffs that gradually incorporate the darkly dramatic and ominous vocals before climbing further, offloading indie fused riffs amidst a melody that jangles with infectiousness; it's indie rock with a sinister underbelly that makes for an alluring cocktail that draws you in without you even realising before quickly coming to an unceremonious end. Short and sweet with a hook laden centre that won't fail to snare all, Climb To A Fall is another tantalising glimpse into Showbizheroes' world, let's hope they have some more to offer us in the future.
