Offering nothing new

The name of the band The Mojo Fins is bizarre before we even start on the music, it gives me the image of a hippy shark, which is always a great picture.
Sweet Spirit holds a beautiful guitar melody throughout followed by soft drumming while accompanied by an almost angelic voice. All of these things combined makes for a truly amazing opening song on this EP. The sound the Mojo Fins produce is almost euphoric and forces you to place a smile on your face.
Palace of Memory and K2 don't change my mind about this band, just back up what I already thought about them only having one style and one speed.

The Mojo Fins haven't had the easiest of careers, a couple of days before their first single was released titled Pinata Face the original lead singer Jon Chandler tragically passed away after being involved in a traffic collision. Obviously this put a difficult task on the bands' shoulders, but they decided to carry on and brought in Adam Luke Atkins on vocals. Although they don't offer anything new to the music scene it's still only right to say that they are all talented musicians and deserve kudos for being good at what they do. It's just a shame that what they do has been done to death in the years previous, however if you are a huge fan of chilled out bands then I would recommend these guys.
