The listener is hit by an explosion of noise as Black Camaro kicks off, followed by Chris Wild's distorted and killer riffs, which would not be out of place on a Motorhead or Black Sabbath track, throw in Shelly X's haunting vocals and you have a classic track.
Black Camaro emits a wealth of vitality that is very rarely seen even in higher profile bands. Mixing metal, with grunge and throw in a little shoegaze-esque feel and it makes a pure listening pleasure to your ears and soul.
It is very rare for a single to come along which can be listened to on constant repeat and never get tired of. Black Camaro, along with its B-Sides Doomgirl and Shallow is one such occasion. GHXST are fast becoming the most exciting new band to have come from across the Atlantic and have all the hallmarks of a band going places, big places, maybe in a black Camaro, so jump aboard.
