Dance Dance the Bravery are back in town

Now many of you will have seen the rather odd video for the single 'Fearless' by The Bravery, New York's new cool mongers. I bet if you went to one of their shows it'd be edgy, angular haircuts and black leather all round. This music is just that- trendy. Riding on the wave of guitar music you can dance to, fans of Bloc Party-esque musings will most definitely like this. Even the nasty pieces of work The Queens of Noize endorse this track and if that doesn't make it trendy I don't know what does. It's catchy and it'll stay in your head for hours, but it's nothing new, nothing different from all the other bands coming out of the indie scene right now.

To follow the hit 'Honest Mistake' with a track like this is a good move, it's not too different but it may attract some new fans with its catchier hook and more upbeat vibe and we all know as long as the NME buying elite still endorse this, there's still room in the world for music like this.

Whether we like it or not, this is bound to be one of the most played tracks of the summer and they'll be coming to a festival near you soon to perform it. Catch them at the O2 Wireless Festival, Glastonbury,T in the Park, Homelands and V, for what I'm sure will bring the "cool" "scene" factor to your festival experience. As long as music like this is coming out at a constant pace, unless the Bravery have some tricks up their sleeves and step it up into next gear, they're on the route to the middle, fast.
