Reminds Me Of A Good Record
Audioslave manage to consistently produce songs that can be played at parties to great joy from most of the people in attendance. Their blend of smooth vocals overlaying a bass driven band is something that's instantly recognisable and quickly appreciated. 'Doesn't Remind Me' is no different- from it's bouncing bass line to the funky guitar solo half way though, it reeks of style. Audioslave are the cool group at the party you just want to get to know better.
At just over 4 minutes, it borders on the long side, but manages to steer clear boredom threshold of most rock fans, meaning that the second track on the single- a stuning rendition of 'Out Of Exile' live, means that this is a single worthy of buying.
