Welsh metal stars serve up an average tune
It has be said that Bullet For my Valentine have a superb sense of timing; given their name, releasing this single the week before Valentines day is a clever move. You could accuse them of hanging on the success of fellow countrymen Funeral for a Friend, but perhaps that would be unfair - they're not that bad.
This might be your typical, angsty soft/loud metal, which is something of a trademark of BFMV, but it's pretty bearable just so long as you don't listen to it too much. It's definitely not a classic rock track as the press release makes it out to be - It falls into the average category too much, and there's not enough poodle rocking for it. Besides, there are some nice harmonies here.
This is one for teenagers all over the country, in the throes of hormonal angst - it's not really interesting enough to merit any other attention.
