Hailing from Whitby, Ontario Protest The Hero crash onto our shore with "Kezia". They have already gained a loyal following for their intelligent, politically and socially aware songs.
"Kezia" tells of a young woman's execution, chronicled from the perspective of three characters, each character is designated a section containing threes songs, with a single retrospective finale concluding the album. It is packed full of complicated power chords, blistering solos, and amazing riffs.
"Kezia" sees the band mixing a variety of musical genres which make it hard to pin them to one, but I'll tell you one thing this is hard, fast and intense this ambitious album reflects the talent and bright future these 19 year olds have in store for them.
