The Vines - Anysound
The Vines return with "Anysound" and it has the classic Vines stamp all over it from Craig Nicholl's rasping vocals to top quality guitar hooks and riffs.
"Anysound" is the bands first release since Nicholl's was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome back in 2004, when the band weren't sure whether they would perform together again. Since then the Vines have received harsh press, but now its their time to hit back with this great song. Although it only lasts 1min55secs they squeeze a hell of a lot in, pounding guitars, raspy vocals, you can feel the passion just from listening to the two combined.
For a band that has gone full circle and see themselves starting at the bottom again this is a great comeback track and if the carry on like this it wont take long until their reliving their glory days.
