"Guns In The Distance" is probably not their strongest track but it is a good slow building track, it's not bad, but it's not instantly catchy. This is upbeat rock with a sensitive lyrical twist, which is bound to capture the hearts of new and old fans a like.
Verra Cruz have created a unique sound that really captures the maturity and distinctive nature of Marc James's voice, you can tell from listening to their lyrics that their sound is rooted in strong song writing. It is also rather refreshing to hear a British group that is not desperately trying to sound American.
