Fortune Drive - My Girlfriend's An Arsonist
'My Girlfriend's An Arsonist' is the debut single from Bristol quintet Fortune Drive; who have created a wonderful mix of laddish rock and tender soul, which is bound to become the soundtrack to so many people's Saturday nights.
This is a no nonsense track with an old school vibe thanks to their vintage sound, the track is driven by a dirty bass and Animal (from The Muppets) style drumming. This is definitely taken from The Stiff Little Fingers school of rock, and is laced with some impressive vocals from Bobby Anderson.
It's a strong song that is fast and frantic, and very well played, this is a great debut release so hopefully we'll be hearing more from Fortune Drive.
