A Moody Alternative Attack

They've been around for 26 years and had 11 UK Top 40 hits, but New Model Army are back for more with a catchy addictive urban rock anthem. 'No one's really sure if this is home," snarls Justin Sullivan with militaristic conviction backed by the steely guitars and dynamo strength percussion. Jagged, catchy alternative rock, this is a rip-roaring track with a bracing urgency and instant attraction. Moody pauses and malicious guitars make 'BD3' a compulsive listen.

'Rumours and Rapture' captures the same driving force and modern confusion but adds a few well-placed guitar solos that steamroller their way through your head. It's a splendid narrative with plenty of gusto. New Model Army need not fear the passing of time because it clearly only enriches their riotous sound.
