Summer hypnosis from the masters of feel-good fun-time music
Fun-time band Aberfeldy release the new single from their upcoming album Do Whatever Turns You On. 'Hypnotised' is very sugary and sweet and veers close to being of the zeitgeist of American-esque pop-punkiness at the intro but soon comes round to being pure sunshine pop brillo-pad stuff. The chorus is as fun as anything they've done with the male/female vocal dynamic coming into play and working just fantabulously. After a few listens it sure does become quite hypnotising.
A little more distortion and racing rhythm than normal, but it's still the addictively sweet Aberfeldy of always. Happy-go-lucky music that's mile apart from a lot of its contemporaries, this is where the good times are at. Get hypnotised by Aberfeldy's new single, it sure is well worth it, not as superb as previous efforts, but good and good nonetheless.
