This is music is fun and uplifting and just right for this particular summer
Good, Beatles-like music in the new millennium, backwards-sounding guitar, dooby-doo backing vocals and rolling basslines aplenty, it's enjoyable stuff. Plus Viva Voce are the real thing, a no-nonsense, we-mean-business band that have a real knack for creating some class music and this single 'From The Devil Himself' is a great sample of it.
Combining the classic sounds of the likes of Oasis, The Velvet Underground and The Monkees Viva Voce unleash a brand of music that is reminiscent of the good times way back when, but so alive and joyous it's very fitting for the summer of 2006.
Get in on it I say. Go buy the single 'From the Devil Himself' and then get along and get the album from whence it came 'Get Yr Blood Sucked Out', because, like those that use L'Oréal, they're worth it!
