In One Ear And Out The Other
This is third single release from Orson's debut full length album Bright Idea and it follows the same kind of formula as their others; pop through and through with a kind of timid, faux rock guitar sound at times. It's undoubtedly very daytime radio friendly and will probably make it to the top of the charts like their first single did in March of this year.
The single seems to be all chorus and not much else, but unfortunately it's not particularly catchy. The tune and the lyrics are unrelentingly vacuous and droney and the vocals are really nasal, a bit like the warbling croon that Robbie Williams deals in. It slips in one ear and out the other before you realize it was even there. They are currently on tour with Robbie Williams, and no doubt, fans of his will probably love this too and run out and buy it in droves.
