Trademark Stones

So with a career that has spanned four decades The Rolling Stones are finally talking about their biggest mistakes. Could it be their choice of security at Woodstock? (Hells Angels weren't really the way to go). Perhaps it's their run ins with the boys in blue over the years with regard to certain substances that they now regret, or maybe even the decision to climb a coconut tree rates as a biggest mistake. All have the potential to gain such a title from Mick and the boys but it would seem even with such a colourful past there is still more to regret - a failed relationship.

'Biggest Mistake' is all about Mick wearing his heart firmly on his sleeve and bearing his soul, remorsefully crooning about losing love. It's trademark Stones. Bluesy riffs swirl about with characteristic Jagger vocal howls whilst a dirty rock undercurrent weaves its way throughout. Sure, 'Biggest Mistake' would flay around miserably against a classic Stones track like 'Angie' or 'Wild Horses' but it's still got a certain charm, a dash of classic Stones swimming around that makes you glad the granddaddys of rock aren't claiming their pension just yet.
