Another Mingblowing Anthem
Another overdriven slice of foxy rock injected with falsetto and big looming, overdriven riffs comes from 70's style shredders Wolfmother. This number has more of a psychedelic funk injection that its fast paced predecessor, of course there are the same blazing guitar solos, but the guitar riff feels more dirty and heavy behind the quivering vocals.
There's plenty of theatrics, even on record, with blistering cries from both the guitars and singer Andrew Stockdale. The lyrics may still be rather repetitive, but you don't care about words when you're grooving to such a massive number; it tires you out just listening! We know what to expect from Wolfmother now and here they happily oblige with another big anthem.
