A Catchy Hit
Welsh rockers Lost Prophets returned this year with a new emo look and a brand new critically acclaimed album 'Liberation Transmissions' which has already spawned the hit 'Rooftops'. Now they release their second single off the album, 'A Town Called Hypocrisy'.
'A Town Called Hypocrisy' is another slice of the winning recipe that helped them pick up two awards at this years K! Awards. Its crisp riff introduces a rant about a town that offers very little. They have been labelled a metal boyband before and the "la la la" backing vocals make me wonder if this is a sly dig at those who have called them that. The single is aggressive but not too heavy and the band seem to have created a sound that is a nice mix between 'The Fake Sound Of Progress' and 'Start Something'.
It has to be said that 'A Town Called Hypocrisy' is incredible catchy and soon gives etched into your mind.
