When a band describes their music as "mutant science punk rock" it arouses such curiosity and wonderment as you know that you're going to have to take the time to listen, just to see if they can possibly match up to the description. Thankfully this debut single from Glaswegian four-piece We Are The Physics doesn't let your curiosity down. With jagged angular edges and a yelping style usually heard from puppies that are being kicked, 'Less than Three' is Star Trek meets Babylon 5 and then chucked into a blender with Polysics, Devo and The Faint.
If this punk rock, indie blend doesn't inspires the chicken neck dance and a good old fashioned jump around the room then quite simply you've got not soul or heart for music. Delightfully dotty with the sci-fi twist this band has got enough oddity about them to keep those who listen to this track interested enough to keep coming back for more.
