All Hype?

Swedish newcomers Love Is All release their second single 'Make Out, Fall Out, Make Up' from their acclaimed debut album 'Nine Times That Same Song'.

'Make Out, Fall Out, Make Up' was independently released last year, which earned them the title of NME single of the week, but personally I don't understand why. There has been so much hype surrounding this band, that I was expecting to be blown away by this track, but I actually found it rather painful to listen to. Musically it's not too bad, it's just the vocal side of it that lets it down, this 'arty rock' was supposed to be the next big thing, but I can't get passed the random shoutiness of it all, sometimes randomness is good, but in this case it's definitely not and the vocals sound whiny and off-key.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I really don't understand why there is so much hype around Love Is All.
