Not as electro as they may think.
The Infadels have been knocking their pan in all year supporting the release of their debut album, and this single has been timed to coincide with the re-release of the album, now with a bonus DVD of live footage. Whilst it may be a touch harsh on long-term fans it could be a favourable option for new fans and 'Girl That Speaks No Words' won't harm their chances either.
Its an inoffensive poppy track that struts by quickly but at least the chorus has a few twists and changes to keep it all interesting. In a world where we are seeing more and more faceless acts blurring the lines between rock and electro, this may not be enough to sway public opinion fully towards them but there are a lot worse examples of this genre kicking about at the moment.
The vocals have a strong pleading edge to them, making the listener believe in the plight of chasing the girl and the guitar solo is a fair nod to 80s guitar bands with its simplicity and brevity saying more than an extended workout could ever hope for.
This track is not going to change your world, in fact, its not even likely to change your weekend but with a remix by French maestro Alan Braxe as part of the package, there could be worse things to do with your money. And you don't need us to tell you about the worse things you can do with your hard earned cash.
