Another Great Release
After huge success with 'Miss Murder' AFI return with the wonderful 'Love Like Winter', a song which was picked out by Big Cheese as "arguably the best song they've ever recorded."
This track opens to the sound of footsteps, overlapped by Davey Havok's soothing vocals, before kicking off at full speed. 'Love Like Winter' really highlights how comfortable the band is with their music. They experiment with their sound without losing their identity. Havok is still instantly recognisable, and although is not on the same epic level as 'Miss Murder' by the time the second chorus comes around you're bound to be singing along. Electro vibrations play in the background giving it an 80's vibe.
In my opinion it's another fab release from AFI, and if they carry on like this they'll have the world at their feet.
