British pop-punk trio Koopa return with their new release 'The Three In A Bed With Bobby George EP'.
Listening to this it's obvious they draw inspiration from American music such as NOFX and New Found Glory, although they haven't put on a foney American accent like so many British bands do. Their catchy tunes and upbeat lyrics guarantee them plenty of airplay, and an army of followers. The Essex trio's tongue in cheek lyrics are all about girls, being dumped, and how being young is great. These Mohawk sporting kids don't do anything original, but the production on this release can't be faulted. If you're looking for an original, deep and meaningful listen then steer clear of this EP. "Erin's Main Obsession" is the highlight of 'The Three In A Bed With Bobby George EP'; it opens with more of a punk metal riff, which was pleasant surprise.
If you're a fan of BFS and similar bands then you will love Koopa's sound and this EP is definitely for you.
