Alt-country hopeful's debut.

English alt-country musician TD Lind relocated to Louisville, Kentucky in the pursuit of a music career. The debut single 'Come in from the Cold' is the result of his quest, and a summary of the songs is really the opposite of overwhelming. The title track is an uncomplicated acoustic guitar number fine in itself, the only detracting factor is the heavily Bob Dylan-esque vocals. It always seems curious that so many try to imitate Dylan when presumably he only began singing in the style he does to cover his flaws. 'Come in from the Cold' is pleasant enough but lacks teeth or the gusto needed to make a place for an artist within a firmly cemented genre.

'Let's Get Lost' is more promising, with less of a Dylan delivery. The soft ambiance of the song is winning and shows TD Lind has the potential to be diverse. 'I Don't Miss You' is a piano accompanied ballad establishing the smoky, heavily regretful atmosphere always so winning in alt-country.

This single manages to show some promise after its shaky start, something the forthcoming album will hopefully highlight. Although not yet a master of country, the framework is firmly under construction.
