The latest single from Bexhill band Mumm-Ra is taken from their untitled debut album due for release in May. 'What Would Steve Do?' is a boisterous and lively song clocking in at less than three minutes. The thumping melody and sing-song vocals are sure fire ingredients to making this song both radio friendly and easy to sing along with.
The band's sound nestles them easily alongside the likes of Bloc Party and with a showcase on the forthcoming NME tour, Mumm-Ra have all the ingredients of mainstream success. Whether that is completely deserved is another matter entirely, but there is enough exuberance here to entertain and enthusiasm aplenty.
