Punk-rock genius.
I can't say enough good things about this band, if you still haven't run out and bought everything they've released, do it now. 'Shitty Future' comes from an album where every track is a winner; so obviously, it's not going to be bad, but still this is the perfect choice for a single release; it's so catchy you'll be singing it for days and even though it's an instant thrill, it's also a tune you'll want to come back to over and over.
The track has a classic Bronx sound: punk-rock with a danceable groove, heavy, angry and fuzzy but dripping with sing along melody. Matt Caughthran's sexy, husky drawl pulls you in and the groove doesn't let you go. What can I say, it's near perfect and at just over two minutes it doesn't outstay its welcome, just pounds you into submission then finishes, leaving you gasping for breath and wanting more.
