Badly Drawn Boy - A Journey From A To B
Fuzzy faced Damon Gough, better known as Badly Drawn Boy returns with his new single 'A Journey From A to B' taken from his latest album 'Born In The UK'.
Badly Drawn Boy once caused a stir for being creative and original but 'A Journey From A to B' comes across as predictable, mediocre and a bit tedious, although as part of his UK tour to promote the single Gough played in three chip shops which is a pretty original idea so he hasn't lost his sense of originality, he just forgot to channel it into his music.
I'm not saying 'A Journey From A to B' is awful, it's a good song but you can't help but feel Gough just rattled it out in a few minutes and didn't have to stretch himself to write or perform it.
