Glam-disco As Ever
Scissor Sisters seem to have the knack of consistently producing inescapably catchy pop tunes and 'She's My Man' is no exception – it has as we've come to expect, a camped up mix of glam infused disco, falsetto vocals and for some reason, as always, the vocals and piano make it sound like an Elton John song (albeit a very upbeat one).
Although this track is undoubtedly a catchy danceable tune, it's not quite as strong as some of the other singles from "Ta-Dah"; the vocals can be a bit strange and distracting, at times going into a low croon, and the song begins to lose its momentum a bit towards the end, but judging by their track record it was never going to be a disaster and these small gripes don't really take enough away from the single to make it a failure, so as usual it's guaranteed to be a huge hit.
