A Fine Rock Tune

Clutch have released classic albums such as 'Pure Rock Fury' now the quintet return with their eight full length album which is bound to become another classic.

'From Beale Street To Oblivion' provides us with another dose of their hybrid of hard rock music styles. This album is full of surprises, there are plenty of unexpected chord pattern that make for an enjoyable listen. Clutch are one of those bands that constantly produce good music but many people never hear it or they don't realise they are listening to Clutch. This album sees the band take on more of a "stoner rock" vibe while somehow managing to effortlessly cross genres throughout. The first single 'Electric Worry' may not be the best track on the album, but it's definitely the one that will get stuck in your head, and it's obvious why the blues heavy track was chosen as a single.

This is a good release from the Maryland guys and shows their music making a real progression and is bound to be a staple release for any Clutch fan.
