Tonight Is Goodbye- The Birds and The Bees E.P

Bouncing straight onto the scene, Tonight Is Goodbye release their E.P, with high expectations. Touring the U.K with up and coming duo "I was a Cub Scout", built the bands profile and in retaliation has seen them produce a self-assured, confident E.P. After losing two crucial band members at an important stage in their young careers, they could have been forgiven for taking a while out, but the spanking new and possibly better five piece are still going strong, touring alongside big guns on centre stages such as the popular gig "Taste of Chaos" at Brixton Academy.

The energy from the band is oozing, the confidence in their band is evident from the first track, with personal similarities to Funeral For A Friend and American favourites Taking Back Sunday, Alexisonfire and oddly Alien Ant Farm (but in a good way trust me) can surely not be a bad thing. Vocal comparison to Senses Fail cannot be ignored either. From beginning to end, the E.P lasts the stretch, braving a lyrical war with copycat artists on the second track "You and your tune", criticising "singing other peoples songs, know the words, but they just can't sing it like the singer does". One to watch in the future most definitely, the first album is eagerly anticipated.
