Rising From The Ashes
As the final nail is rammed into a band's coffin the members are faced with two paths to take. One leads directly to normality, working the 9-5 in a soul destroying job where the highlight of your week is a sneaky half an hour surfing the internet. The other path? Well its quite simply really, you grab some like minded individuals who'd rather sell their granny to the devil than get the dreaded suburban life and form another band. It from such ashes that Godsized have risen to unveil their blend of melodic metal that thumps you over the head with one fist before wrapping its arm around you and consoling you with the other. Godsized by name, Godsized by nature, this is a band for whom the volume knob has been discarded years ago and where all you need to join the party is the ability to head bang along with the best of them and to wield your air guitar enthusiastically for all to admire.
Loud and proud, 'Fight And Survive' flaunts guitar wizardry to mesmerize all as Godsized frantically wrap their fingers around chords that both excite and invigorate as they mould melodic vocals to their metal mentality sounding not too dissimilar to Trivium. Metal with melody to match, Godsized are proof that conforming to the norm isn't always the way to go.
