An oasis of calm
Findlay Brown is quietly building a reputation for himself in 2007. Current album 'Separated By The Sea' has proved a hit with those in search of a new acoustic based musical hero, and having impressed at Camden Crawl he's now ready to take on the summer with Latitude the stand out date in his schedule. He's recently been touring the UK on the 'Longing For Latitude Tour'.
Latest single 'Losing The Will' is perfectly timed to co-inside with the return of Crowded House, as the harmonized vocals are very reminiscent of that reformed band from down under. The simple melody to this track will also be pleasing to the ear of those who like the Coral.
'Losing The Will' is an enjoyably soothing offering that will be equally perfect on a warm summers day as late into the night when a chill is in the air.
This single comes backed by an Erol Alkan remix that doesn't drift too far from it's original form, but is likely to find it's way onto alternative chill out compilations in future months. Also look out for Findlay's cover of the Jesus and Mary Chain track 'just Like Honey'. This track gets its release in the final week of May.
