Rumbling Rock
A grinding rock frenzy, with 'For Real' The Heights ooze classic rock charm with yelping and mellow melodic guitar lines intertwining to climax in a furious chorus with cries of, "I thought that I heard you say are you for real, are you for real?" It's a ballsy, brawling big rock tune that will be sure to catch your ear, although it may not have anything truly new to offer. B-side 'Low Drama' is a more melodic tune that's less brash and more focused on detail than broad all-covering riffs; this is a pleasant jaunty indie tune with the same bruising guitar power as 'For Real', but this is kept under strict control and only provides edgy jabs that augment the tune.
With both tunes under two minutes, The Heights offer quick blasts of good old fashioned rock n'roll, The Heights may find space on your stereo as a filler in an evening of raunchy rock, but they're no pioneers.
