Get blown away.

Pull Tiger Tail are one of the new bands this year who have been quietly going about their business, constantly touring and plugging away without actually making too much of a fuss about themselves. 'Lets Lightning' was a sparkling burst of melodic noise but 'Hurricane', no matter what the title alludes to, is a softer, more reflective affair.

Its not any poorer for it, though as any accusation that they are a one-trick Nu-rave pony gets blown out of the water by this passively built track. The chorus picks up some speed and does spiral away a bit, not like a hurricane but with enough passion to catch your ear and the vocals have a rather pleading delivery which adds to the nagging feeling of giving it one more listen.

The verses may be a bit non-descript in comparison but the overall feel of the track leaves a good impression, and certainly indicates a wider appeal than some of the bands they've been lumped in with. A mountain of tours already this year will have exposed Pull Tiger Tail to a good few different audiences so hopefully the act can push on and capitalise from their intial hard work.

With no proper mention of an album you may be thinking theres no point in getting too excited just yet at this young three-piece but surely that's all the fun. With this single coming in at a completely different angle to the last, it hints at progression and variety and with a tune that will get stuck in your head.
