Bouncy pop-rock.

This is standard radio friendly pop-rock with a reggae tinged beat and jagged, staccato guitars that, at times, give a more interesting edge to the slick sound. 'A' side, 'Young Enough Not to Care' is a bouncy easy on the ear tune with a really nice bass line; however, despite the rhythms and jagged guitars, it doesn't manage to be particularly memorable, just pretty harmless and inoffensive. Unfortunately, both tracks are let down by quite disappointingly run-of-the-mill poppy lead vocals, you keep expecting the tunes to really take off but they seem happy to plod along.

On a more positive note, the single's 'B' side, 'Little Victories' is definitely less middle of the road, it's a much heavier track with some fuzzy sounding guitars and a catchier chorus. This tune should definitely have been the A side track; it's got tons more punch and personality giving you something to get your teeth into.
