Groovie Baby

Every once in a while, a dance act releases a single that crosses over into every corner of the mainstream music world.

Groove Armada are no strangers to chart success and massive radio exposure, but when they release a song featuring one time Sugababe Mutya Buena it was always set to get heads turning that might not otherwise look in their direction.

'Song 4 Mutya' is as pop as Groove Armada have been, with a catchy disco bassline that eats it's way into your mind, even if the song itself isn't one that captures your imagination.

Although the vocal part of this track is catchy, it's not mind shatteringly remarkable, however as a song to be played on the radio. Heard in clubs or as part of a Groove Armada gig, it does a fine job and this song should stick around for a while.

Groove Armada have a wealth of great tracks in their back catalogue, from the hits 'I See You Baby', 'At The River' and 'Superstyling'' to several albums worth of funk, house, hip-hop and chill-out influenced material. With a pop voice such as an ex Sugababe appearing on one of their songs, this should act as a fine introduction for those not so familiar with their work.
