From Wales comes a band that have the potential to be super-huge.
Wales birthed post-hardcore outfit "Funeral For A Friend" but it's about time that they brought some indie talent to the fore, and so, overdue come The Steer's; a band suggestive of classic-Indie greats Supergrass or Blur re-incarnated. This is their fantastic debut "Rewind Repeat"; a dynamic, frantic, spirited tune, if there ever was one.
With a mutual fondness for the likes of The Jam, Blur, Radiohead and The Cure, the Welsh lads take into consideration their stimulations but put their own creative and exquisite curb on their music. Ending up with a sound that comes as a breath of fresh air in the modern day scene.
Pulsating, driving drums, ravishing, orgasmic guitars, breathtaking vocals and transfixing lyrics, come together to make an amazing track; a bold stab at an indie anthem. These Cardiff lads are adamant about bringing their exhilarating brand of Indie rock to the masses, and I'm sure that they'll succeed in doing so.
