Windmill – Fit

With a procession style intro, trumpets and percussion introduce Windmill, a Buckinghamshire based artist whose vocals are unique to say the least on this track 'Fit'. When the CD first began to play, visions of Kermit the frog or one of the other Muppet or Sesame Street characters singing came to light so it became very hard to take the song seriously at first. I actually had to head over and watch the video, just to make sure it was an actual artists singing and not a puppet!

Having said this, when you listen to the song a few more times, it is actually very catchy, with the lead vocalist singing about not being able to fit in with the crowd, and feeling alienated while pleading with the listener to "Please pull your weight"; the vocals actually fit in with the lyrics of the song. The sound of the track is amazing. It goes from brass to keys to guitar and then a mix of everything your ears want to hear.

This song may not tickle your taste buds to begin with, but after listening a few more times, it will encircle you to the point you begin to wonder – "do I fit it?"
