Bloodhound Gang - Screwing you on the beach at night
The Bloodhound Gang is back on shore with a new digital only single, 'Screwing You On The Beach At Night'. After hearing "you and me baby aren't nothing but mammals..." you may think the line 'Screwing you on the beach at night' relates to one thing...and you would be right.
The strangest thing about this "love song" is the lyrics. With lines like "I would show up for our pottery class/dressed like a pirate with John Water's moustache/On a unicorn that s***s your name in stars" you would most likely think insults, but in fact it's just insolent poetry – very creative.
The backbeat continues through the song, slowing in parts from the opening purr to the ending "release the doves". At times, the track sounds like one of those bad ring tones, but its forgiven as it is upbeat and very catchy if you put it on repeat.
