Mighty South African musical geniuses, The Parlotones, release “Beautiful”. The soundtrack to a Fujifilm advertising campaign, it is no doubt a track that has been around for quite a while, chances are you have heard it, but nevertheless it’s quite timeless, and remains somewhat special and fresh each time you listen to it; Never becoming boring and always exciting the musical wits.
“Beautiful” is a thumping good track, with a relentless and completely unforgettable chorus, magical vocal texture and intensifying harmonies. Chant-like lyrics are delivered in such a way that has an element of conviction but doesn’t become overstated or rowdy. This is a really tight and crisp track and is bound to be a hit for these guys.
