Tapes 'n Tapes - Hang them All
Two years have passed since the Tapes ‘n Tapes boys released ‘The Loon’ their debut release, which led them being hailed as the kings of indie.
After disappearing for a while to write and record their new album the Minnesota four piece are back with a song that packs as much punch and is as explosive as their debut. ‘Hang Them All’ has a nice, chucky bassline, chugging guitars and rhythmic drumming, and leans more towards the Brit-pop sound of Franz Ferdinand, which is a bit different to the sounds heard on their earlier material.
‘Hang Them All’ has a good pace to it, it’s the sort of track that’ll get everyone jumping about at a gig or dancing the night away in a rock club. It is catchy and easy to listen to, and I’m sure it won’t be long until these guys reclaim their crowns and will be seen as indie heroes all over again. ‘Hang Them All’ is a nice taster for their upcoming album, which I will look forward to listening to.
